Ground Stakes
Our 1 5/8” 16 gauge galvanized steel ground stakes are used to anchor the Quonset style greenhouses to the earth. It is recommended that they are cast into like a small fence post. They can also be driven into the ground.
Please note that 2’ of the ground stake goes into the ground. They are used to adjust the height of the quonset’s. The quonset hoops are all half as tall as they are wide. For example a 16’ wide hoop is 8’ tall in the center. If you would like the height to be 10’ in the center, then you will need a 4’ ground stake. The 2’ sticking up will add to hoop height and the overall height will be 10’.
